Nigerian born heavyweight boxer Onoriode Ehwarieme will be taking on Argentinian heavyweight Jorge Alejandro Arias on the 28 of December 2019 in Lagos for the vacant WBF Intercontinental heavyweight title.
Onoriode who had a setback in June when he lost to underdog Rodney Hernandez has vowed to come back stronger as he wants to mix it with the crème de la crème of the heavyweight division and challenge for major honors when he returns back to the US.
When quizzed on how he plans to fight Arias, he revealed that he will keep him at range and utilize his height and reach advantage, something he admittedly failed to do in his solitary loss to Rodney Hernandez.

Recall that Onoriode represented Nigeria at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing at the time Anthony Joshua had wanted to fight in Nigerian colors. It caused quite some disagreement among fight fans, with some saying he is the reason Joshua is fighting out of England.
