tutorial Here’s What To Do When Your Smartphone Falls Into Water

Guys, this is serious. How many people do you know who have already dropped their smartphone into the water?
Probably at least one. And how many of those have recovered their handsets?
Most likely, few. Let’s talk here about some essential tipsfor when this accident happens to you.

The essential checklist:-

Do not keep the appliance switched on
If it is off, keep it that way. If it is on, turn it off immediately. Keeping connected will cause components to short circuit as water causes things that should not be connected to each other.

Do not put in a power source

Worth the same for the tip from above.
Do not connect your device to a charger or computer. Power passed through the cable can damage components.

Do not heat up
Passing the hair dryer too close to the appliance can melt solder and components, making the situation even worse. And do not even think about microwaves, this can cause an accident.

Do not blow or shake

By doing this, you can bring water to places that were not previously wet and increase the damage.

Do not let it go

It fell into the water, wet? Do not drop the appliance that way. Take care as soon as possible to see if you can get it back.

Now, what should be done:-

Take it out of the water immediately –

Even if it means putting your hand on the toilet. The faster you get out of the water, the more chance of survival.

If it is not already off, do it on time. This will lessen the damage.

Take apart

If your device is a type of device which a removable battery, remove the cover and battery as well as chips and memory cards. Dry these items separately.Remove covers and casesTo avoid unnecessary water accumulation, remove any cover and case or hood. This will help dry faster and prevent water accumulated in these items from flowing into the apparatus.

Pass a towel

Use a towel that does not release plush, and avoid the toilet paper, which also leaves pieces. Tap gently with the towel on the appliance, on all sides, and leave the appliance on the towel so that any liquid that falls get absorbed.

If it really plunged into the water and there is too much liquid, you can use a vacuum cleaner and liquids to remove excess water. Make sure you have removed the loose parts of it before.

Let it dry

Until you can take in a technical service, you can leave your smartphone dry, and the best methodis rice. Take a plastic bag (those with zipper are thebest) and put the volume of the smartphone on raw rice five times inside that bag. Arrange the appliance inside, in the middle of the rice, and leave it still for up to five days. Do not take out before that.

After a few days, try turning the unit on. If youdo not able to do so, recharge for about 20 minutes and try again. If it gave no sign of life, it did not work. But keep aneye on it for a few days to see if anything weird happens. Steaming on the camera and muffled external sound are some of the symptoms, and it should go back to the rice' ..…………
